Driver's EDge Online Driver's Education Course
& 90-Minute Student/Parent Course
The program consists of at least 30 hours of instruction and includes components about alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive drivning, distracted driving, pedestrian & bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness and organ & tissue donation awareness as required by law. Now includes the required 90-Minute Student/ParentOnline Course.
-You must be at least 15 years and 6 months old to take the online driver education course. All individuals who elect to take the classroom component of the driver's education course online must take the online course through a DMV licensed driver training school. Home schooled students are exempt from this requirement.
-Payment of $175.00 required prior to recieiving Welcome E-mail with Online Course access details. Payment Method using Buy Now (PayPal) button below online form on this page.

-In order to benefit from the course, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable with using a computer.

To begin, submit your inquiry & payment below.
Testing Procedures:
-You must be in person to take the final Online Driver's Education Course Final Exam.
Testing Hours: by appointment only.
-Email your Driver's EDge Instructor to schedule your final exam appointment.
Testing Location: Gather, Midlothian VA
On your scheduled Testing Day, you MUST bring the following to the test site:
-Photo identification: (DMV issued identification card, school issued identification card, valid passport or military identification).
-Proof of completion of the online driver education course & 90-minute Parent/Student Course.
-A completed Parental Consent for Online Driver Education Examination (DTS62), if you are under age 18.
-You must provided proof of completion of the additional 90-minute parent/teen course, if you are under age 18.
Driver's EDge NOW offers the 90-minute Parent/Student Online Course with our Online Driver's Ed Course.
*New as of July 1, 2022: The Parent/Student 90-minute online course will be required for student's living outside of *Planning District 8 and may be completed in-person or online. The participation of the student's parent or guardian in the Parent/Student Course is encouraged, but not required.
